Designed and built specifically
for the Commonwealth Heads of Government weekend retreat
in 1989, these prestigious bungalow chalets were first
used to house the former Prime Minister of Britain,
Mrs Margaret Thatcher, The Ruler of Brunei, His Royal
Highness Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah and other world political
figures. The same chalets were also home to the Royalties
of Malaysia during their conference two years later.
Privileges include free membership to the Meritus Club
Lounge, free sunset cocktails daily at the Club Lounge,
daily breakfast escort upon check-in and in-room registration.
Housed in double storey chalets, its special
features include bath with jacuzzi, special toiletries,
VIP fruit basket, 24 hour room service, registration
in the room, bathrobes, tea/coffee making facilities,
video cassette recorder, colour TV in both bedroom and
parlour, mini bar, and in-room safe. Only king size
beds are available with 129 square metres in area. |
